Governor Ramen Deka Meets Young Advocate Sugandha Jain, Congratulates Her on Global Achievement
Raipur, June 19 2026: Governor Ramen Deka on Friday met young advocate Sugandha Jain at Raj Bhavan during a courtesy visit. Jain is currently serving as the Standing Counsel for the Government of Chhattisgarh in the Supreme Court of India, New Delhi.
Apart from her legal responsibilities, Sugandha Jain is also associated with the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) under NCERT as an external POSH trainer.
She created history in 2025 by becoming the first Indian to serve as a judge representing India at the International Moot Court Competition held at the University of Oxford. Appreciating her remarkable achievements, Governor Deka extended his best wishes for her bright future.
Her mother, Indira Jain, was also present during the meeting.
